About Us
Aurene Artistry was founded by sisters Riji Anandan and Simi Anandan, two passionate dancers who began their journey in the world of dance at the age of 4. What started as early training soon evolved into a deep connection with the performing arts, shaping not just their skills, but their identity.

Both Riji and Simi are dedicated disciples of their Guru, Smt. Hemalatha Prakash, under whom they were introduced to the discipline, grace, and expressive depth of Bharatanatyam. This strong classical foundation laid the groundwork for their artistic journey and instilled in them a deep respect for the art form.

As their journey evolved, they expanded their horizons by exploring Western dance styles and training under Hiphop India, where they developed versatility, rhythm, and a contemporary edge. This blend of classical training and modern expression defines their unique approach to dance today.

After years of learning, performing, and exploring diverse styles, they shared a common vision — to create something meaningful and impactful. Aurene was born not just as a dance academy, but as a space to redefine how dance is perceived.

They believe that dance is not just a hobby or a side activity, but a powerful art form and a serious field of growth, discipline, and opportunity. Their mission is to help individuals understand the true value of having a skill, and to nurture dancers who see performing arts as a purposeful path.

Riji Anandan brings strength, discipline, and depth to AureneArtistry. With a strong background in Bharatanatyam and years of dedicated training, she is known for her precision, expressive storytelling, and commitment to excellence.
She had the honor of representing Karnataka at the prestigious Republic Day Parade 2010 in New Delhi, marking a proud milestone in her journey.
Her approach focuses on building strong fundamentals, discipline, and grace - shaping students into confident performers with a deep understanding of the art.

Creative Director
Simi Anandan brings energy, creativity, and a modern perspective to Aurene Artistry. Known for her expressive style and innovative approach, she focuses on helping students build confidence, stage presence, and individuality.
With a background in management and performance, she blends creativity with structure, ensuring that every student not only learns but enjoys and connects with the process.
